“Haters don’t have a chance, we love too much”.
                                          - Omar Rudberg

Singer, songwriter, dancer and actor, Omar Rudberg has always had contact with art, participating in various talent shows and, years later, becoming a member of the Swedish boyband “FO&O”.

The group was created in 2013 under the name “The Fooo”, originally having the members: Oscar Enestad, "Olly" Molander, Felix Sandman and Omar Rudberg. Starting off with performances on the streets of Stockholm and videos on YouTube, they won a legion of fans wherever they went. After some name changes and the departure of Olly Molander, the band was renamed “FO&O”, as it’s known today.

Winning the Swedish Grammis awards in the category "Innovator of the Year" and "Best Swedish Artist" at the MTV EMA 2014 the band later became Scandinavia's biggest boyband. In September 2017, after speculation, it was confirmed that the band had gone on hiatus and took time off for each member to follow their solo projects.

Omar started his solo music career in mid-2018, with the single “Que Pasa” featuring Lamix, followed by “La Mesa” featuring Elias Hurtig in August of the same year.

In February 2019, he released the single "Om om och om igen" after participating with the song in Melodifestivalen (Sweden’s version of Eurovision Song Contest). Unfortunately, he failed to qualify from the first semifinals, but the song gave Omar his first Top 20 in Sweden as a solo artist.

In May and June, he successively released the songs "Jag e nån annan" and "LÄPPAR". In May 2021 he released the single “Alla Ba Ouff”, followed by the release of it’s Spanish version, “Yo Dije Ouff” , in July 2021.

In August 2020, Omar received the news that he would star in the Netflix-produced series Young Royals, in which he plays the character Simon, the romantic interest of Prince Wilhelm, played by Edvin Ryding. The series premiered in July 2021 and was responsible for his worldwide success, with numerous positive reviews and over 99% public approval on Rotten Tomatoes, being recently renewed for the second season in September 2021.

As a child, Omar always loved the art of dance and music. Because he was different from other children where he grew up, he got to experience xenophobia and racism first hand for his Latin descent. With the help of his mother Wilnur, he learned over time to overcome difficulties and diversities, today he is very grateful to her for that. As an artist, Omar seeks to combine his Swedish part with his Latin origin, creating songs and lyrics in Spanish and Swedish, balancing performances with dynamic vocals and elements of Latin America.

Omar seeks to remain with his own identity as an artist, never forgetting where he came from and where he wants to go, pursuing his dreams and ambitions. Today he is the true example of how art can act positively in someone’s life, because in addition to helping himself, he can reach thousands of people through his work, bringing comfort and inspiration wherever he goes.

“Can everyone stop making chaos and spread love instead? Can everyone please just be nice?”
